Jeria Carter, Anacostia High School Media Specialist & Arts Educator, is a proud DC native, is a seasoned alumna of Duke Ellington Dance Department and Howard University's Fine Arts program, where she earned her B.A. in Art Management and Fashion Merchandising. With a passion for design, she also holds certifications in graphic and web design from Boston University's Center for Digital and Imaging Arts. Since 2016, Jeria has been an integral part of Anacostia High School, wearing multiple hats from educational aide to art teacher and now serving as a library media technician. Known as a self-proclaimed "Jack of all trades" and "Black Unicorn", she lends her expertise to students and staff alike, supporting various needs and creative projects. Jeria's dedication to her community was recognized in 2022 when she received the Casey Trees Canopy Award for Education for her leadership in revitalizing Anacostia High School's courtyard

Catch @littlebaconbear from her Radio One beginnings in 2017 to hosting segments like KYS Versus and the Crank Session, she’s dedicated to spotlighting local and major artists. A coveted DJ in the DMV, she’s a fixture in music, nightlife, and culture, spinning for brands like Essence, BET, Nike, and Youtube. Self-taught and forward-thinking, she’s determined to uplift women in music and revolutionize terrestrial radio’s image.
King Noodlez of Beat YA Feet
Kevin Davis, known as "Noodlez" in the dance community, is the leader of the third generation of Go-Go Music's Beat Ya Feet Dance Movement. As an artist and educator, Kevin represents dance excellence in the Beat Ya Feet dance style and has opened up doors for the younger generations by teaching them different ways
to thrive within the community while empowering them with dance skills, in addition to providing emotional support and realistic advice.
Kevin has been in the movement for about ten years and has earned the title of
"fan favorite" through winning dance battles and representing DC in competitions.
He has recently invented a new dance move for the Beat Ya Feet style and actively brings innovation to the style as a whole by incorporating retro dance moves stemming from his early interest in dance, which is heavily inspired by the iconic moves of Michael Jackson. Kevin was introduced to the Beat Ya Feet style in middle school and dived more into the Beat Ya Feet culture after meeting the second generation of the movement (including John Pearson, known as "Crazy Legs") in high school. He has now taught the style for seven years and has mentored young artists during this time, including "Safee," (a producer of Go-Go music infused with Rap) and Timothy (a Rapper/battle dancer).
Nia Monaé
Nia Monaé, a natural born performer, has been performing since the age of three. Dancing since the age of 3, she's done such disciplines such as tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, and more. She has been creating, recording and mixing her music since the age 11. She also choreographs and writes all of her music.
Malik Dope
Malik Stewart aka “Malik DOPE” is a Washington, D.C. Native from the Uptown area. He started playing drums around the age of 5 years old, with inspiration sparked from african drum and dance and later began to take it much more seriously at the age of 12, starting on a 6 piece drum set playing DC “GoGo” music, Hip Hop, R&B etc. As Malik continued percussion with ‘’GoGo’’ music, playing in neighborhood bands and generating notoriety for his style of playing, he went to Northwestern High School, and in his 10th grade year took an interest in the school’s marching band.
After completing high school, Malik enrolled in Prince George's Community College and while in school he was blessed with the opportunity to be a part of Howard University's marching band once again exposing him to a more advanced layer of percussion.
As Malik’s rise continued online and in the DMV, in the year 2013 he began to form his own brand “D.O.P.E, Definition of Percussion Entertainment " (now LLC) ,created to provide entertainment, education, inspiration, motivation, innovation, artistic awareness & production through the live nature of percussion, ultimately displaying the brand as a positive influence on living life. At this time Malik shifted away from the Howard University band, taking the experience he gained and leaving the job he had at the time to fully pursue his D.O.P.E. journey. He has participated in numerous events & live street performances all around the DMV and other major cities, states & countries such as New York, California, Atlanta, New Orleans, Virginia Beach, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, Jamaica, South Africa, China and more.

Born on the vibrant streets of Washington D.C., The Experience Band & Show rose from humble beginnings as fearless buskers, captivating audiences at iconic metro stations like Gallery Place, Farragut, L’Enfant Plaza, Dupont Circle, and beyond. But they didn't stop there. The band fearlessly championed the #DontMuteDC movement, fearlessly confronting challenges that threatened to silence their free-spirited outdoor performances.
In January 2018, destiny smiled upon them when they triumphed in an Instagram contest, earning the prestigious opportunity to open for the legendary Lalah Hathaway at the magnificent Warner Theater in Washington D.C. This pivotal moment propelled them onto the professional stage, setting in motion a whirlwind of unforgettable performances. Since then, The Experience Band & Show has graced almost every iconic venue, club, and theater in the city, honing their craft and captivating audiences with their undeniable prowess.
When the world faced unprecedented challenges due to the global pandemic, The Experience Band & Show refused to let their passion wane. In the wake of the tragic events surrounding George Floyd's death, they took to the streets, joining the Black Lives Matter protests at the iconic Black Lives Matter Plaza. Their music became a beacon of hope, spreading positivity amidst the turmoil.
Out of this crucible of resilience and determination, the Club Experience was born. Located at the revered 14th and U Street Northwest, in front of the legendary Reeves Center, this "club without walls" has become a symbol of community and connection. Every Friday night, The Experience Band & Show gifts the city with a free concert, reminding everyone to embrace kindness, love, and the sheer joy of life's music.
The Cruddy Crankerz
The Cruddy Crankerz are the only Go Go duo/husband and wife team that exists. DC Ty the Monster and his wife Lady Moet Beast have been recording music together since 2007.
They both are District of Columbians born and raised and had been performing prior to meeting. The lady since 1990. The gentlemen since 1999. On July 01, 2012 they created the idea of The Cruddy Crankerz. The duo has 10 Mammies Finalist nominations, 1 DMV Best Spoken Word Recording Award and nominations, DMV Trendsetters Award, DMV Standout Award, a minimum of 7 albums including a Christmas album and several music videos on YouTube and other Streaming Services, and featured in a few short films.
They play several instruments and write and produce all of their musical works. The couple has five children. One son is a musician in his own right, and a daughter who plays the percussion from time to time with her parents. Their Go Go music is fused with punk rock and funk. They call it “Crudd Rock”, much different from the traditional sounds from other Go Go bands. Their Gutta Blues is fused with R&B & Soul. Since Spring of 2023 the couple has been performing at outdoor venues, such as Fort Dupont park, Anacostia Park and on the Sylvan Theatre on the National Mall. They have used their platform to invite other upcoming Go Go bands and other artists to perform as well.

Cool Libra
Mickey Freeman III is a percussionist, music producer, instructor, and entrepreneur. Mickey is influenced by his percussionist father and legend in Washington, DC, go-go music scene, Go-Go Mickey.
Mickey plays percussion for several bands and currently tours nationally with Sugarbear & EU and plays with national acts Raheem DeVaughn, Algebra Blessett, Tweet, and Tommy Davidson Jr.
TABRIA is an R&B Soulstress who has performed since 2008 at various venues ranging from weddings, clubs, and stadiums to national stages.
While continuing to soar and as the lead female vocalist for Rare Essence Band, she was featured on Wale’s Lotus Flower bomb while performing at City Winery, DC. Tabria frequently performs on the same line-up as Sugar Bear (EU).
Together, Mickey and Tabria are Cool Libra; a mix of soul, R&B, pop and a little go-go, feel good vibe.
Simply Winter
Winter is an author, transformational speaker, entrepreneur, life coach, recording artist, and media personality. Winter began singing at the age of 5 and received a vocal scholarship. She is a writer and has authored 8 books. Winter is active in her community. She founded and leads a growing mentorship & support community for women while professionally consulting for entrepreneurs and women in leadership roles. She holds an MBA from Liberty University and is pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration. Winter recorded and released her debut singles in 2022. Winter is an actress and has been on Hush season 2 & is on the cast of Love and Marriage DC (OWN TV).
Olumide
Olumide grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where he casually started making his first recordings with his brother as a high school student. His talent blossomed quickly, and soon, it became apparent that he was destined for bigger things. Olumide began performing on any stage that would have him, rapidly upgrading to multiple appearances at Baltimore Soundstage and performances with national acts such as Curren$y, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and King Lil G. By the time Olumide’s first recordings were available, he was already carrying himself as a seasoned veteran.
Night Train
Night Train 357 (pronounced “three-five-seven”) is an award-winning emcee combining wordplay and subject matter that’s not often touched upon in the Hip-Hop world. For Train, his music is about replay value. His metaphors are designed to ensure you rewind so you don’t miss a line with pop culture references, a wide range of socially conscious and personal topics, and a touch of nerd rap! He’s not trying to be cool. He’s the cure for the common cool.
Rapping is one of many ways Train chooses to express himself creatively. He’s a creative in the true sense of the word from visual arts, performance arts, and even martial arts. The name Night Train 357 is a way to pay homage to his late father, the original Night Train 357, a bass guitarist and CB radio enthusiast from the Washington, DC Metro Area.
Night Train 357 has performed with Black Sheep, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, Slick Rick, Nonchalant, and the late great Biz Markie, as well as working with the best and the brightest in the DMV music community.

Gado is a multi-talented Cameroonian artist whose music creates an atmosphere of positivity.
Ari Voxx
Ari Voxx is DC’s Dreamy Pop Princess. Well-versed in many different music worlds, she focuses on writing music that is eclectic and authentically her, transcending genres. With a sound heavily inspired by the moods and vibes of 80s/90s new-wave and pop artists, a performance from Ari Voxx and The Sad Lads casts an encompassing nostalgic atmosphere over the listener. Expect to experience misty soundwaves propelled by pulsating beats, generously draped with precise, dynamic vocals. Their genre-bending debut album entitled "I'm Okay, Please Stop Asking" is available on all streaming platforms now!
Awesome Ray Ray
Awesome Ray Ray is a high energy recording artist hailing from Arlington, VA.(Washington D.C. Area). With blended styles ranging from Blues,Rock,HipHop,Metal,to EDM, electrifying the masses, ARR delivers nothing short of an entertaining, and storytelling experience. With a finessing drive and passion, Awesome Ray Ray crosses multiple genres, flowing, and weaving from smooth lyrics,hip hop vibes, and sometimes tear jerking heart piercing tones, to raging southern rock anthems, to hard rock hooks that’ll always keep you on your toes. It’s always been his goal and lifestyle to follow dreams, and inspire others to do the same. That’s why that very phrase is tattooed on his arms.
ARR is no stranger to the music and entertainment industry. With a background in music production, and attending the Connecticut school of broadcasting for TV and radio. He recorded and toured as a professional endorsed drummer with his former band “Year of the locust” from 2015-2018. In that time, he was apart of several national tours with artists and bands like “Saving able, R&B singer MYA, Starset, palisades, Sons Of Texas, trapt, hoobastank, puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Gemini syndrome, otherwise, Grabbitz”, and many more. Using those amazing experiences, connections and relationships, ARR Launched his solo career in 2020.
In 2021 ARR had the opportunity to perform at the Blue Ridge Rock festival in Danville, Va with an attendance of 140,000 people. He shared the stage with national bands and artists featuring, Jelly Roll, Papa roach, motionless in white, ICE Cube,A day to remember, tech 9ine, Shinedown, POD, and cypress hill” to name a few. ARR also reached a major goal of his by purchasing his first tour bus. Currently, ARR has 8 singles released accompanied by 3 music videos.

The KontrolledKhaos
DMVbased The Kontrolled Khaos Band (KK) is a powerhouse super-group consisting of extremely talented vocalists, MC's, musicians, and producers. Kontrolled Khaos was established January 2017 by leader, drummer, and visionary Jonathan "Footz" Livas. Footz initially dreamt of gathering artists for a project. However, the dream turned into a reality and Kontrolled Khaos was no longer a project but a band. They sparked a unique genre, Kontrolled Khaos categorizes themselves with a sound known as 'Garage Soul it has propelled the band to work with numerous artists such as Goldlink, Lightshow and more.
No matter how big or small the venue, Kontrolled Khaos is able to provide a large orchestra sound or a top notch small ensemble. After their debut studio album entitled 'Let Love,' the Kontrolled Khaos began to add to their impressive resume performances at events at the DC Jazz Fest, Takoma Tavern Station, The Fillmore in Silver Spring, and many other venues across the US East Coast. Kontrolled Khaos is committed to mastering their crafts, working in a spirit of excellence, and providing others with a life changing experience. They have released five singles within two years: Break Up, Doing Too Much, The Christmas Song, and Indecision; available on all digital music streaming platforms. Dumi Right
DMV resident and artist for 2 decades, Dumi Right was first introduced to audiences during hip hop's golden age as a member of Zimbabwe Legit, one of the first hip hop groups out of Africa to gain international recognition. In the years since, he has remained immersed in the culture and business of Hip Hop, independently releasing a number of noteworthy music projects and performing all across the DC Metro area, the US and on the world stage. His influence has been documented in numerous publications as well as in academic works of hip-hop history, including Say It Loud! The Story of Rap Music by K. Maurice Jones and The Hip Hop Wars by Tricia Rose.
Dumi has been invited to speak and perform for classes and panel discussions at colleges including University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Howard University, George Washington University, American University and Virginia Tech University.
