In such, Bryant has provided opportunities for DC-based artists to establish themselves as headliners for larger opportunities in DC and nationally. In DC's creative industry, there are several artists who have grown beyond the hobbyist nature of open mics but who have yet to catch their big break. Bryant has done a phenomenal job of recognizing these talented individuals, providing sophisticated and worthwhile opportunities while protecting the legacy of DC culture. The creative space that Bryant occupies is not glamorous or subsidized by guarantees but BeMo is brave enough to risk his personal success for the betterment of the creative industry. Some call that foolish, I call it right. |
